My Journey

My creative path began in 2011 when I discovered Photoshop as a teen. Back then, designers built full website templates and UI elements in the software—I was instantly drawn in. Over time, I refined my craft, mastering Photoshop and teaching myself Illustrator, which elevated my logo and visual design work.

In 2020, I took a pivotal step by earning a UX certificate with BrainStation, which sparked my passion for user experience design. This newfound enthusiasm led me to pursue a diploma in Interactive Design and Technology at Saskatchewan Polytech, a program that has been truly transformative. Under the guidance of exceptional instructors like Prof. Arlin Schaffel (Web development and UX), Prof. Craig Wall, Prof. Mike Klein, and Prof. Jesse Rolheiser (JavaScript, Git Bash, and Bootstrap). I've built a strong foundation in both design thinking and modern development practices.

This educational journey has ignited a deeper love for the field, and I'm now exploring the exciting intersection of design and development. The blend of creative problem-solving and technical implementation is where I've found my calling, with aspirations to potentially grow into product designer roles in the future.
